Cameras worn on a face raise a fair question, and the answer has to be more than a policy page.

Here is exactly what happens. A frame goes out, a sentence comes back, and that is the end of it. Nothing is stored. Nothing is logged. No record is kept of what you looked at, where you stood, or who was standing next to you. Not by default, not as a setting you have to find, not at all.

Today the seeing happens in the cloud, and we would rather say that plainly than dress it up. Phoenix Eye needs a connection to describe a space or read a sign, and the frame that produces the sentence you hear is discarded the moment it has done its work. We are building toward doing that inside the frame itself, so that one day nothing has to leave at all. That is not a feature we are teasing; it is the reason the hardware is designed the way it is.

The reason we hold this line so tightly has little to do with regulation. A device worn in a friend’s kitchen, a doctor’s waiting room or a child’s bedroom has to be defensible to everyone in the room, not only to the person wearing it. The world is handed to you. It is handed to no one else.
